Default Correct Sizing

Hi,

I have a captivate project that is sized at 720 X 520 (LMS constraint).

Using the IE Developer Toolbar I have resized my IE window to the same size.

When I take a screen capture (using SnagIT) it is sized at 720 X 520

When I paste this image into captivate is automatically resizes it to 720 X
420.

If I try and change the size I get a message saying that 'the range must be 1
and 470' . . .

Can anyone explain why I cannot paste a 720 X 520 image into a 720 X 520 slide?

This just doesn't make sense , , ,

I agree, that doesn't make much sense.

First, try 'pasting as background' and see if the resize still occurs.
If not, solved? Or can this image not be a background...?

If it can be, and the above doesn't work straight from SnagIt, try...
Do you have any image editing tools, like Photoshop or similar?
How about creating a duplicate of an existing slide, which is at the
size you prefer, copying the background, pasting that into Photoshop,
the paste the SnagIt screen on top of that background, flatten, select
all, then paste that overtop the background you originally copied?

A bit of a workaround but maybe that'll get rid of the problem.

Otherwise, are the slides in your Captivate set to 720x520 already?

Thanks for the response Erik.

Pasting as background didn't work however the photoshop option did!

The issue seems to be specific to my desktop PC, so rather than spending the
additional time on the workaround (I have approx 10 hours of content to develop
- so effectiveness is essential) I have resorted to using my laptop.

strange . . . i think a captivate setting may be causing the issue, is there
anyway to export all of my settings from my laptop to my desktop?

Thanks again for your help
