Default Opening old Macromedia objects with Captivate

I was handed a course that was created using Macromedia (and I assume
Authorware) in or before 1997. Is it possible to use any of the accompanying
ancillary files to recreate the course in Captivate. I only want to get access
to the audio and graphics so that they can be updated to new ones.

Thanks for any help you can give!
Dean

"created using Macromedia" doesn't make much sense as Macromedia was a
company (before being bought by Adobe), not a product. Authorware, on
the other hand, does make sense since Authorware was a Macromedia product.

If you have the Authorware source file (ending in something like .a7p,
..a6p, etc) and you have Authorware, you could get to the assets like
audio and images to reuse them for another tool. If you do not have the
source file, there's no way you can get at these assets (other than
screen capturing the images and maybe doing a loopback to record the audio).

What 'accompanying ancillary files' do you mean? Often Authorware
courses are created with links to external files (audio, video, etc) so,
of course, if those exist externally then you can reuse them...
