Welcome to our community, Scott

Normally links work once you post to a server. So I'm wondering the following.

* What exactly are you linking to? (I'm guessing this could have an impact on
things)
* What exactly may this "Sharenet" be doing if it's different than a normal
Web server.

Cheers... Rick :smile;

Hey Scott,

On my project, none of the links worked when my project was stored on a shared
drive. Instead I put it onto SharePoint, and this seemed to solve a lot of
problems - links workded, and the email reporting function also began to work,

Is it possible for you to try this on sharepoint?

Charlie

Sharenet is our intranet. I posted the captivate presentation to Sharenet. The link is to another location on Sharenet. Both the same server.

Hey Guys, I just thought of something. I included my link in an imported
PowerPoint presentation. Is it possible that's why it won't work. If I added
the link in captivate with a button would that work?

Scott

A button would work. But if you want the link text to appear the same way it
does in PowerPoint a click box might be the best answer?

You can make this click box entirly invisible (transparent and no borders) and
it will have the same affect as clicking on a link,

At least i think....

Sounds like a plan. I'll give it a try. Thanks Charlie.

This is strange. Any guidance would be appreciated. When I first put the link
out on Sharepoint it didn't work. Then is started working. In user testing
today it does not work again. Any ideas?

Perplexed,

Scott
