Hello,
I am trying to open an Authorware file done in 4.0.3 and am having no luck. I know it won't open on an Intel mac, but I haven't been able to open it on a PowerMac, either. Any help is appreciated, and thanks! Todd |

There's been no Mac version of Authorware since 4. You can only open it with AW 4 or 5 on PC. Hi Steve,
I have the original install disc for AW 4.0.3, and in classic on my G4 at home, I cannot open the file. I have a colleague who produced a great piece of work in 1998 and he wants to update it, hence my issue. I have XP on my Intel box here, but am having no luck trying to get the file to open. --Thanks, Todd |

Steve -
When I'm in classic and try to launch the file, I believe I get a memory error. In XP, I'm trying to open it in AW 7, but I know I need to convert the file multiple times to open - Still no luck! Thanks, Todd |

We can help with actual information ... > In XP, I'm trying to open it in AW 7, but I know I need to convert the > file multiple times to open - Like I said already, you cannot open AW 4 files in anything but AW 4 or 5. Bat your eyelids and talk sweet, you might get someone to help you convert the file to 7 for you.
