Default Packaging

I would like to send my authorware file to a colleague for content feedback.
He does not have authorware on his computer. Is there a way that I can package
it so that I can e-mail it to him? I have tried to package it and have
e-mailed it to my other computer and it doesn't work. Is that because I need
the authorware web player (I had assumed I did not need this because I am not
using the web)?

Thanks,
alleyshea

How did you package it?
How does it 'not work'?
You need to package with runtime so the result is yourfilename.exe. The
default packaging is not with runtime...

You can use OBP "File / Publish / Publish Settings..." to have the file
packaged for the web or for EXE. You want the EXE option - check the box on
the formats tab for "With runtime for Windows 98....". Even when you use EXE
option you will still need several files to run the program. After you
publish look for a file called "Published Files\Local" where your Authorware
file is. OBP should get the files the piece needs into that folder. Zip up
the contents of the local folder and send that. Tell your friend to unzip it
and click the EXE that you find in the local folder. OBP doesn't necessarily
catch every file. If you move the zip to antoher location and unzip it you
should be able to narrow down what's missing.

Thanks so much! Moving the file to another location was a great idea and helped me figure out my problem - which was embarassingly simple
