I'm running opensuse 11.0 and I am trying to install adobe air beta for linux

I sent an strace to the appropriate email and a bugbuddy report also
but since I haven't seen this particular bug on here I was wondering if anyone
has any ideas

oh and here's it with sudo

Try not running via gnomesu/sudo/etc - let the installer prompt you.
If that doesn't work, run 'xhost +' first to allow other accounts to send content to your X session, that should work.

I have the same problem - the installer silently exits. I tried your suggestion
and this is the result:

The issue you reported is a known one, and is fixed in the post M2 builds.If
