Flash does use Gregorian calendar. Do you mean you need to format a date certain way?

the flash date class (like most, if not all, of the world) is based on the gregorian calendar.

Do you need to convert dates from the Hijri calendar to Gregorian? I'm sorry to
prejudge, but based on your name I was guessing it might be the Moslim
calendar. Sorry if I'm out of line.

That is going to be pretty difficult. My understanding is that the Muslim
calendar is based on visual sighting of the moon and can differ from the
mathematical calculations of astronomers. Therefore there would be no regular
conversion that would always work -- it would need a lot of special exceptions
based upon what had happend historically.

Here is some information about how Microsoft does it for their servers.

Other than that I don't know. Good luck.
